Valdobbiadene is about 15 minutes by car (10-12 km) from La Corte di Marga. It is the shortest distance among those listed here, and makes the property an ideal base for anyone wanting to spend several days visiting the Prosecco Superiore DOCG wineries without having to change accommodation — you can even stay at Corte and book one of our tasting experiences guided by our sommeliers.
The’Cansiglio Plateau it can be reached by less than a 40-minute drive. It is one of the most popular day trips for our guests, especially those staying with children: beech forests, Lake Lago and the plateau paths offer a completely different feel to the vineyard-covered hills, while still being within a morning's distance from here.
Within a half-day trip from La Corte di Marga you can also find the’Abbey of Follina, one of the most picturesque national monuments in the hills, the village of Cison di Valmarino with the CastelBrando Castle, and i Cartizze vineyards, the most prized heart of the Prosecco Superiore DOCG denomination.
We recommend using a car, the most convenient solution for getting around the hills and reaching the various destinations described above at your own pace. For those travelling by train, the most convenient station is Conegliano or Vittorio Veneto, from where you can continue by bus or taxi — upon request, La Corte di Marga can also arrange a direct transfer service from the station or airport.
