{"id":2361,"date":"2026-04-06T08:05:35","date_gmt":"2026-04-06T08:05:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lacortedimarga.com\/?p=2361"},"modified":"2026-05-06T09:33:40","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T09:33:40","slug":"between-sky-and-vines-the-path-of-cracks-and-the-enchantment-of-collangues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lacortedimarga.com\/en\/tra-cielo-e-vigne-il-sentiero-delle-crepe-e-lincanto-di-collagu\/","title":{"rendered":"Between Sky and Vineyards: The Crepe Path and the Enchantment of Collag\u00f9"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If there is a place where the landscape of the Prosecco hills (UNESCO World Heritage) reveals itself in all its geometric and spiritual power, that place is the route that leads from Farra di Soligo (11.5 km from Corte di Marga) to <strong>Sanctuary of Collag\u00f9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a path that does not just make us walk, but allows us to \u201cread\u201d the geology of the territory through its ridges (the <em>Cr\u00eape<\/em>and find peace in one of the most iconic sanctuaries of the Marca Alta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udeb6 The Route: What awaits you<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The route is a 7 km loop starting from Farra di Soligo, in the car park of the small church of Santo Stefano Vecchio where you can leave your car. From there, follow the signs for paths 004 and 1, \u201cSentiero delle Crepe\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. The first part of the path<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The first part of the path skirts Col Porchera to the west until it reaches a fork where, amongst the vineyards, we will find a rose garden surrounding a shrine dedicated to the Madonna and Child. From there, take the right fork, which will lead us to a place called \u201cLe Crepe,\u201d passing through vineyards and a dense wood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. The Crack Path<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>It is the technical heart of the trek. The \u201cCrepe\u201d are rocky outcrops and thin ridges that offer a 360-degree view. You will walk right on the edge of the ridge: on one side, hills embroidered with vines, on the other, the Prealps closing the horizon. The chromatic contrast between the bright green of the vineyards and the wilder woods is breathtaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. The Sanctuary of Collag\u00f9<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Slightly lowering the altitude, it will almost magically appear the <strong>Sanctuary of Collag\u00f9<\/strong>. Rebuilt by the Bottari de Castello family after the Great War, it is a place of absolute tranquility. Its architecture blends harmoniously with the surrounding natural amphitheatre. It is the perfect spot for a contemplative pause before completing the loop, heading towards the Busa di Ieto, skirting the Rio Patean. However, in some sections on the \u201cCrepe\u201d, the path narrows: at these points, it is advisable to put your poles away or pay closer attention to your footing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Families and Children<\/strong> It's a splendid adventure for little ones (from about 6-7 years old upwards). The path offers constant changes of scenery which prevent boredom, but the presence of some sloping sections requires good supervision. <strong>Avoid pushchairs<\/strong>The ground is uneven in several places.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>When to go<\/strong> All year round, recommended in Spring for the blooms or Autumn for the <em>foliage<\/em> golden Glera vines from which Prosecco is
