You will reach a scenic road that leads to the Malga Budui car park, where you will leave your car to continue on foot towards Rifugio Posa Puner (approx. 40 mins), the starting point of our route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Distance from Villa Marga:<\/strong> around <strong>17 km<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Car journey time:<\/strong> 30-35 minutes (a scenic climb that is worth the journey in itself)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Walking along the ridges above Miane and Valdobbiadene is not simply a hike; it\u2019s an experience of the \u201cborder\u201d. On one side, your gaze glides south, caressing the patterns of the UNESCO Prosecco vineyards until, on clear days, it\u2019s lost among the canals of Venice. On the other, to the north, the Belluno Dolomites suddenly loom, majestic and imposing. The ring that connects the <strong>Posa Puner Mountain Hut<\/strong> a <strong>Malga Mont<\/strong> it is the beating heart of this scenic beauty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Posa Puner: Where Heaven Meets Tradition<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The starting point, Rifugio Posa Puner (1334 m), is much more than a shelter: it's an institution of the Treviso mountains. From here begins a ridge ride that follows the watershed of the Prealps. The path winds through very high pastures where the air is thin and smells of fresh grass and freedom. In this section, the \u201cStone\u201d of the exposed rocks of Monte Cesen frames the \u201cSilk\u201d of the meadows which, in spring, are tinged with the colours of high-altitude blooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Towards Malga Mont and Monte Crep<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the ridge path, one crosses the <strong>Salvedella Nuova Bivouac<\/strong> to then reach the meadow basin of <strong>Malga Mont<\/strong>. This is where time truly slows down: the mountain pasture, with its unspoilt rural architecture, tells the story of transhumance and the heroic lives of shepherds. Just above, the summit of the <strong>Monte Crep<\/strong> (1346 m) offers the \u201cluxury\u201d of a breathtaking 360-degree view, making you feel small in the face of immensity, but finally a part of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It's a route that doesn't present extreme technical difficulties, but which offers a vibration of deep peace, far from the chaos, where the only sound is that of the wind caressing the grass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udfd4\ufe0f What you will experience along the trail<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This ring is pure visual poetry. The walk takes place almost entirely on the ridge, which means you'll be fortunate enough to see \u201ctwo worlds\u201d simultaneously:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>A Sud:<\/strong> The mosaic of the Prosecco hills fading into the Veneto plain. On clear days, the bell tower of St. Mark's in Venice seems almost within reach.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A Nord Man:<\/strong> The majesty of the Dolomite peaks and the Valbelluna.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The arrival point (and halfway point) is <strong>Malga Mont<\/strong>, a delightful place where the tradition of alpine pasture is still alive. The weather can change in minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Break at the mountain hut<\/strong> If you visit during the summer months (June-September), stop at Malga Mont to taste the mountain pasture cheese: it's the true taste of the mountains.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Water<\/strong> There are no springs along the ridge. Make sure to fill your water bottles at Rifugio Posa Puner before you set off.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udca1 The expert's tip<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>For Nordic Walking:<\/strong> This is perhaps one of the best routes in the area for those who practice this discipline. The terrain is regular and allows for a constant pace, making the most of the push from the poles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>For Families:<\/strong> Bring a blanket! The meadows surrounding Malga Mont are the ideal place for an unforgettable picnic, far from the heat of the plains.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clothing<\/strong> Even in summer, remember that we are above 1,300 metres.
