The Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene UNESCO<\/strong> they are not only visited with the eyes, but explored with the palate. As a sommelier and host of The Court of Marga<\/strong>, I have drawn for you a Gastronomic Tour<\/strong> that shuns the trade routes to seek the true soul of the Marca Trevigiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From a rural breakfast in Miane to a romantic dinner among the Cartizze vineyards, here is the programme for an unforgettable day dedicated to taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

09:00 \u2013 Departure from La Corte di Marga (Miane)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The tour begins in the heart of our accommodation. A zero-kilometre breakfast: homemade cakes, honey from our hills, and alpine pasture cheeses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We'll start by taking the Prosecco road (Strada del Prosecco) towards Valdobbiadene (11 km) to discover the cradle of Prosecco production. Once in the centre, we'll visit Piazza Marconi. Here, an imposing...\u00a0bell tower built in 1743<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta<\/strong>. The church, dating back to the 15th century, was later converted in Neoclassical style at the end of the 18th century: numerous artworks are kept inside. A short walk from Piazza Marconi we find Villa dei Cedri<\/strong>, building with 19th-century charm that owes its name to the trees in its park.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We then move to the fSan Pietro di Barbozza district<\/strong> to visit the\u2019Hermitage of Saint Albert<\/strong> and i Zoe's stones<\/strong>, originally\u00a0<\/strong>not too much Piave stones<\/strong>; These sculptures originate from the imagination of Angelo Favero, known as \u201cZoe\u201d, an artist who shapes and smooths natural stones, giving them new life and creating particularly expressive characters nicknamed \"putin\u00f2t\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11:30 AM \u2013 Panoramic Snack: Osteria senz\u2019Oste<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Let's head towards Valdobbiadene, to the Cartizze hill. Here, the Osteria senz\u2019Oste is a must-stop for the view and a quick \u201ccicchetto\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A stop rich in history and tradition that takes us to visit this three-storey stone and brick farmhouse, built at the end of the 19th century and preserved in its original state among the vineyards of the Prosecco hills; you will find the farmhouse door always open with some homemade food products on the table and brief written instructions. Step out and admire the view that this fantastic visit offers you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next to it, you will find one of the best-known wineries in this area, Col Vetoraz<\/strong>, for a taste of their excellent wine selection with breathtaking views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
