Two families, two seas, one hill<\/h2>\n

The story of Ca\u2019 del Poggio is the story of the Stocco family, and it is the story of two vocations that came together. Fortunato Stocco and his wife Maria Stella come from the restaurant business in Bibione, on the coast. There they made their living in the trade. When they move to the Treviso hinterland, they bring with them that \u201cmaritime soul\u201d \u2014 the fish cuisine. They adapt it to the hills of Prosecco Superiore DOCG, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2019.<\/p>\n

The restaurant Ca\u2019 del Poggio opens its doors on October 18, 1994<\/strong>. Today the management has passed on to the children. Alberto and Marco<\/strong>, Alongside their parents. Alberto follows the service and the welcome, while Marco is in the kitchen with chef Vincenzo Vairo: together they carry on the family\u2019s fish cuisine with a touch of modernity and elegance.<\/p>\n

Since May 2013, the offer has expanded with an attached hotel, Villa del Poggio, equipped with a panoramic terrace overlooking the rows of Prosecco vines.<\/p>\n

In this area, most restaurants focus on local dishes: grilled meats, cold cuts, mushrooms, game. The distinctive feature of Ca\u2019 del Poggio, however, is the Marinated cuisine<\/strong>, Fresh fish served in a contemporary style in an elegant yet familiar setting. The wine cellar follows the same philosophy as the restaurant: the wine list pairs the great red wines and local sparkling wines with a selection designed to complement seafood dishes \u2014 a pairing that is not commonplace in the Prosecco area.<\/p>\n
