The Prosecco Hills Trail It's an itinerary 51 kilometres which runs through the heart of the UNESCO site. It's not a walk on the flat: the total positive elevation gain is about 2.265 metres, which makes it a moderately difficult trek, characterised by the continuous ups and downs typical of our shores.

Here is the technical detail for the 4 recommended stages to enjoy the scenery and local culture at a leisurely pace.

Stage 1: Vidor – Col San Martino

• Length 13.5 km
• Journey time 4 hours and 30 minutes
• Ascent 550 m
• What to see The Abbey of Santa Bona and the Colbertaldo ridges. This is the “welcome” stage into the world of bubbly wines.

Stage 2: Col San Martino – Follina

• Length 12.2 km
• Journey time: 4 hours
• Ascent 580 m
• What to see The highest point of the trail (Monte Cesen) and the descent to the Abbey of Follina, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

Stage 3: Follina – Tarzo

• Length 15.5 km
• Journey time 5 hours and 30 minutes
• Ascent 720 m
• What to see The route through Miane and the historic “Casere”. This is the longest and most challenging stage, but the variety of woods and vineyards is unparalleled.

Stage 4: Tarzo – Vittorio Veneto

• Length 10.8 km
• Journey time 3 hours and 30 minutes
• Ascent 415 m
• What to see The Revine lakes seen from above and the triumphant arrival in the historic centre of Serravalle in Vittorio Veneto.

Practical Advice and Signage

The path is marked by white and blue directional signs with the Camino logo.

• Road surface 30% asphalt, 70% dirt roads and trails.
• Water Always carry a 1.5L supply. Fountains are scarce on the ridge sections.
• Period From March to June for flowering, from September to November for foliage and grape harvest.
